Your adventure begins in Amsterdam, with its legendary canals and distinctive architecture. From the Netherlands travel on the Rhine to Cologne, Germany, a historic university town with a vibrant gay scene. Cruise through the beautiful Rhine Gorge, take in the picturesque landscape of vineyard-clad hillsides with stops in Cologne, Miltenberg, Wurzburg, and Bamberg before joining the Main River. Marvel at the Main-Danube Canal – an engineering masterpiece – as you traverse Europe’s Continental Divide before ending the cruise in Nuremberg. From here you will transfer to historic Prague for 2 post nights in one of Europe’s most attractive cities.

Aug 5AmsterdamWith your free time, view the famous Canal Parade of the Amsterdam Gay Pride. Every year the parade is visited by more than 400,000 people. Alternatively, wander along the banks of the Vltava River, relax at an outdoor restaurant, or shop for local handicrafts and art work. Embarkation begins at 4pm.
Aug 6Amsterdam/UtrechtAfter breakfast, city tour of Amsterdam with canal trip and North Holland excursion.
Aug 7CologneArrive in Cologne this morning, where you will have a walking tour of Old Town and Cathedral Square and visit the spectacular 13th-century gothic cathedral – its twin spires are among the tallest in Europe. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to visit some of the local shops or have a coffee at a quaint café. Or, if you prefer, enjoy a glass of Kölsch, Cologne’s famous smoked beer.
Aug 8OberweselThis morning, cruise through the picturesque Rhine Gorge, with its castles, fortress ruins, and the legendary Lorelei Rock. Arrive in Oberwesel, where you will enjoy an afternoon walking tour. You’ll have free time to explore the a narrow alleys lined with wine taverns and restaurants.
Aug 9Miltenberg/WertheimArrive in Miltenberg, where a motor coach tour will take you to Wertheim, where you will see the historic city center followed by free time to explore the town on your own.
Aug 10Wuerzburg This morning, take a guided tour of Würzburg showing you all of the major sights or visit the Residenz Palace and gardens, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s best examples of Baroque architecture.
Aug 11Bamberg Arrive this afternoon in enchanting Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. Disembark for a guided walking tour of this medieval gem and see the breathtaking cathedral, the Old Town Hall that straddles the river, the city’s serpentine streets, and elegant 18th-century mansions. Sample some of Bamberg’s famous smoked beer before continuing your cruise this evening to Nuremberg.
