Latest Travel Requirements Update: 

 

Mexico: Travelers must fill out an updated version of the on-line Traveler Health Questionnaire for arrival and departure, Mexico Vuela Seguro.

 

Dominican Republic: As of April 1st, 2021, to enter and exit the country, only the digital E-ticket Form will be accepted. Printed forms will no longer be accepted.   

 

St. Martin: As of February 17, 2021, passengers arriving from the United States of America and Canada can use all FDA approved rapid antigen tests for travel to St. Martin. This includes those antigen tests with Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) as well. This does not include at home tests.

COVID-19 test entry requirement: All travelers who are 12 years of age or over, are required to obtain and present a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test result to check in for a flight. The test must be conducted by a medical laboratory with either of the following credentials: CLIA or ISO15189 certification. Residents of all other countries are NOT REQUIRED to present a test result. The date of the sample collection must be less than 3 days from the travel date to Jamaica.

COVID-19 test entry requirement: In accordance with the Dominican Republic Responsible Tourism Recovery Plan launched on September 15th 2020, travelers do not need to provide a negative PCR or COVID-19 test upon arrival. Authorities will randomly administer a quick breath test to 3-10% of arriving travelers. All international travelers arriving on commercial flights and staying at a hotel will be granted during the check-in process a temporary, free health coverage plan that provides coverage for emergencies in the event of an infection or exposure to COVID-19 while in-country. The coverage includes medical attention by specialists, medical transfers, transfer of a relative, penalty for airfare changes, lodging for prolonged stays and more. This insurance will be provided at no cost to visitors arriving on or before March 31, 2021 and will be 100% paid for by the Dominican government.

Other entry requirements: Since November 29, 2020 a printed Traveler Health Affidavit Form or digital E-ticket, has been required to enter the country.  As of April 1st, 2021, to enter and exit the country, only a digital E-ticket Form will be accepted. This E-ticket form must be filled out by all passengers, whether Dominican or foreign, entering or leaving the Dominican Republic 72 hours before arrival or departure. Upon completing the form, a QR code will be generated. A QR code will be required for passengers arriving and departing the Dominican Republic. COVID-19 test entry requirement: As of Oct 26, all local and foreign travelers who enter Costa Rica by air are not required to present a RT-PCR diagnostic test with a negative result.

Other entry requirements: Face masks and social distancing are required at airports. Mandatory that travelers purchase travel insurance, covering their accommodations in case of quarantine and medical expenses due to COVID-19 illness. Local insurance authorized for travelers can be valued at the following links: Grupo INS or Sagicor. Travelers must fill out the electronic epidemiological HEALTH PASS form. For international insurance policies, travelers must request a certification from their insurance company, issued in English or Spanish, verifying at least the following three conditions: 1) Effectiveness of the policy during the visit to Costa Rica. 2) Guaranteed coverage of medical expenses in the event of becoming ill with the pandemic COVID-19 virus while in Costa Rica, for at least USD $50,000 (fifty thousand United States Dollars). 3) Includes minimum coverage of USD $2,000 for lodging expenses issued as a result of the pandemic.

COVID-19 test entry requirement: The Government of Aruba requires all visitors to undergo a Molecular SARS-CoV-2 test based on a nasal or oral swab within 72 hours before entering Aruba. Children aged 14 and under are exempt. 

Other entry requirements: All visitors are required to complete an online Embarkation/Disembarkation card and be approved in order to gain entry to Aruba, face masks are required at the airport. COVID-19 test entry requirement: Within 72 hours before departure, each visitor entering Curaçao from high risk countries will need to show a negative result from a certified COVID-19 PCR-test and upload a copy. Status: Open for travel with restrictions. Travelers are now able to stay and travel between the French and Dutch borders on island.

COVID-19 test entry requirement: Travelers are required to submit negative results from a PCR test taking within 120 hours (5 days) prior to departure. Children ages 10 and younger are exempt. Starting January 10, 2021.  As of February 17, 2021, passengers arriving from the United States of America and Canada can use all FDA approved rapid antigen tests for travel to St. Martin. This includes those antigen tests with Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) as well. This does not include At Home Tests.

Other entry requirements: Travelers must complete an online Health Declaration Form stmaartenehas.com. This It is strongly recommended that you complete this registration process at least 24 hours prior to your departure flight as confirmation of your registration can take as long 12 hours.

Temperature checks are conducted at the airport, and face masks are required throughout the island including the airport. St. Martin will implement its St. Martin Visitor Protection Plan, a mandatory health insurance plan for vacationers visiting the island. The mandatory health coverage plan rates are: $30 USD: All visitors 15 years or older. $10 USD: Children 0 -14 years old. Each policy is valid for a single entry to the country for a stay up to 180 days, and expires the moment the policyholder boards a flight leaving the country.  Each entry into the country requires the purchase of a new policy. Status: Open for travel with restrictions. All incoming travelers are subject to a 14-day mandatory quarantine upon arrival. Quarantine opt-out is possible if travelers present proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
COVID-19 test entry requirement: Beginning October 15, all travelers aged five (5) and over are now required to take a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab in order to bypass the State of Hawai‘i’s 14-day mandatory quarantine. The State of Hawai?i will accept test results ONLY from Trusted Testing and Travel Partners. The test will need to be taken no more than 72 hours before your flight departure time.

Other entry requirements: Face mask and social distancing is required throughout the Hawaiian islands including all airports, passenger temperatures are checked via thermal screening, and travelers must complete a health & travel questionnaire before arrival.

The Mexican Government has introduced an on-line process to facilitate the country’s health registration control - Mexico Vuela Seguro. As of February 15, 2021, this on-line registration is mandatory and must be used by travelers for arrival to and departure from Mexico. This is another positive initiative - along with the Mexican Multiple lmmigration Form - to assist clients traveling to Mexico.

 

To review, there are now several documents and procedures that are mandatory for travel to Mexico and return to the U.S.
